Bernadette Lobo BSc (Hons) MIEEM

Principal Ecologist

Bernadette has 20 years experience in the environmental sector. She began to focus exclusively on ecology over 10 years ago and has been fortunate to work across many sectors and organisations, including The Nature Conservancy Council, North West Water, Babties, The Environment Agency, Defra, Flora Locale and Jacobs UK.

Bernadette is a professed generalist having worked with both terrestrial and aquatic habitats and species. She project managed and took part in, the first catchment wide survey for white clawed crayfish while working for the Environment Agency and advised on and surveyed for otter, water vole, crayfish and pearl mussels and is a licensed bat worker.

While working for Flora Locale Bernadette sat on numerous steering groups promoting grassland restoration and the use of native local flora across the North of England. She currently sits on the Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management section committee for Yorkshire & Humber, and lectures at Askham Bryan College in York on Woodland Management.

 

Janette Holliday BSc (Hons) AIEEM

Ecologist

Janette is an ecologist who began her career as an engineer, giving her a unique insight in to many clients needs and requirements.

Having worked as an ecologist for over 3 years she holds a number of protected species licences including great crested newt and badger. Janette has a keen interest in aquatic flora and fauna and also continues to improve her all round ecological knowledge on a wide range of species and habitats.
